Jason Halpern Achieves Real Estate Success

Jason Halpern, the 45-year old founder of JMH Development is busy with multiple projects in New York and Miami. He teams up with many other top developers to complete large projects. JMH has completed over $500 million worth of projects since 2007. One of the major developments is Aloft South Beach in Miami, a 200-room venture co-developed with Mitchell Hochberg’s. Madden Real Estate Ventures. The facility offers prime, waterfront accommodations, with access to Lake Pan coast and the Collins Canal. It is located a block from Miami Beach.


Jason started his real estate career at Halpern Enterprises, under the supervision of his late father Joel. Jason is a third-generation real estate expert. He launched JMH in the 1990s. It has developed into one of the top development companies in the New York area. His father sponsored a race car team in the late 1970s, spurring Jason’s love of fast cars. He raced himself in the early 2000s. During the real estate downturn in 2008-2009, he gave up his hopes of racing professionally. Jason has a 13-year old son, Max, whom he likes to spend time with. The two take trips together and attend sporting events. Jason is engaged to a Ukrainian model named Veronika Gomeniouk.


Halpern recently undertook a project with Kushner Companies and the Rockpoint Group. They are converting the Wild Turkey bourbon plant in Williamsburg into luxury condos. JMH originally converted it to rentals, now it will move to the final phase, becoming condos.
Jason lives and works in 184 Kent Avenue, one of the buildings he converted to luxury rentals in Brooklyn. The building consists of 340 luxury residences. The building is listed on the National Historic Register. He specializes in restoring buildings in historic districts, by working along with the local community to maintain the quality of the community. JMH developed the Townhouses of Cobble Hill in Brooklyn.


In addition, to his real estate activities, Jason is involved in several charitable ventures. He supports the Joel Halpern Trauma Center, in Westchester Medical Center, a Level l Trauma Center. He is involved with another organization that supplies clean water to the people of Nepal and Ethiopia. He plans to continue developing real estate and using his success to support those less fortunate.
