Tammy Mazzocco Shows How To Sell Real Estate

Tammy Mazzocco started her real estate career as a secretary in a commercial real estate group made up of nine agents. It was an eye opener, because not only was it a good job but it showed the income potential of the business to her. After that job, Tammy accepted a job as the manager of a condominium development, and she also obtained her real estate license while she was working there. That was in 1995.

In 1998 she took a job working for one of the biggest RE/MAX sales agents, Joe Armeni, and it was there that she saw how to run a successful real estate operation. By 1999, she was in business for herself as a full-time realtor.

Tammy Mazzocco joined the Judy Gang Team with RE/MAX that year, as Judy was a close friend and a mentor and Tammy has had no regrets and is today, a successful businesswoman in her right.

People ask Tammy what make her tick, and how does she motivate herself? One of her biggest motivations is setting goals, which she says is extremely important for her. She likes to break the goals down into action steps that she can accomplish more easily. She can see a lot of measured progress that way.

She starts her day early with some meditation and stretching exercises, and then it’s off to the office to get paperwork and email followups out of the way. She then likes to get on the phone and follow up on leads. She likes the leads that come in from Zillow and realtor.com because these are usually interested prospects who can be scheduled for appointments to show houses. She likes to tell the story about herself when she was new to real estate selling that initially she was very shy. Especially when it came to asking prospective clients about their financial situation it was difficult to broach the subject. One associate suggested that she simply initiate the conversation by asking the question. In other words, just blurt it out, and don’t worry about the result. So, that is exactly what she did, and it solicited the needed answers she needed to hear. Check out her About.Me page for more details.

That led to her next observation. Tammy stresses that she doesn’t take herself too seriously, she lives without fear of failure and she doesn’t settle for second best. The one thing she always tries to do is put the customer first, and she puts her needs and desires on the back burner. If the customer feels you are giving them all the consideration, they will want to do business with you.
